It is important that we meet every family’s needs.

Providing a family with a meaningful, dignified service that commemorates and honors a loved one isn’t simply a matter of making a few arrangements and taking a trip to the cemetery.
Everyone is different
and every family has different ideas and feelings about the kind of services that are appropriate for them.
Of course, each religion has its own rituals and observances, but the families we serve often make special requests, whether they prefer cremation to traditional interment
or certain kinds of music
or poetry read at the service instead of (or in addition to) scripture.
At Treadway & Wigger it is supremely important that we meet every family’s needs and desires exactly with compassion, caring, and the utmost respect. Some families request caskets made out of long lasting bronze. Others request a simple pine casket that is completely biodegradable. Whether you wish to commemorate a life with a traditional service in our chapel, or celebrate it with a picnic on the beach, we will make the arrangements with personal attention, caring, and compassion.

Ted Wigger
|
The president of Treadway & Wigger, Ted Wigger, has deep roots in the local community. He was born and raised in Napa, and graduated from Napa High School in 1967. After attending Napa Junior College, he earned his BA degree from the University of New Hampshire, and his MA from the University of Southern California.
Even though he began working with the firm full time in 1974, he worked in the funeral home while growing up.
“My goal,” says Ted, “is to maintain the family tradition by creating a caring, comfortable environment where people can express grief and concern in ways that meet their needs.”
